Materials

Make story cards with questions, for every learner a card.

Examples:
Who is the main character?
What happens in the story?
Where and when does the story take place?
Tell the story in a few sentences.
What character did you prefer?
What part of the story did you prefer?
Do you have any questions?
How will the story end?

Preparation

Find a story that is suitable for your learner group.

Instructions

  • Sit in a circle.
  • Read the story to the whole group, if necessary a second, third time.
  • Put the story cards on the table.
  • Let each learner choose a card and answer the question.
  • If necessary, help the learners answer their question.

Variant

Let the learners work in pairs.
